\n Worldly wisdom:<\/strong><\/p>\nEarthly, sensual, devilish.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n| \n Their father:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…<\/p>\n<\/td>\n Their father:<\/strong><\/p>\n Cursed above all cattle\u2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n Genesis gives us more enlightenment on “the great men of the earth”.<\/p>\n Genesis 6:4<\/strong> [amplififed bible]
\nThere were Nephilim (men of stature, notorious men) on the earth in those days\u2014and also afterward\u2014when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, and they gave birth to their children. These were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (great reputation, fame).<\/p>\n“In those days” refers to the days of Noah.\u00a0 “And also afterward” refers to them again after the great flood.<\/p>\n The phrase “sons of God” has caused all kinds of confusion and wild speculations on who they were, ranging from good angels, to fallen angels and even an alien race of beings from outer space!<\/p>\n But it’s really very simple, logical and straightforward.<\/p>\n If you are a son, there are only 2 ways to be part of a family: birth or adoption.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n In the old testament, it was impossible to be spiritually born by God since that was not available until the day of Pentecost in 28A.D. because to be spiritually born of God takes spiritual seed.<\/p>\n Spiritual seed only became available until after the works of Jesus Christ were fully completed = the day of Pentecost.<\/p>\n Therefore, the sons of God in Genesis 6:4 had to be by adoption.\u00a0 \u00a0They were the descendants of Seth [the believer’s bloodline], as opposed to the descendants of Cain [the unbeliever’s bloodline], who was a child of the devil and was the world’s first murderer.<\/p>\n The great men of the earth are people who have sold their souls to the devil.\u00a0 They were literally the spiritual sons of the devil who were also the “men of renown” i.e. the celebrities of their culture and time.<\/p>\n There is nothing new under the sun.<\/p>\n Some, but thank God, not all, of our modern celebrities have made the devil their father, but they will never know it because they have been deceived.<\/p>\n Matthew 7:20<\/strong>
\nWherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.<\/p>\nA Harvard University study found out that 75% of all bankruptcies are caused by medical debt.<\/div>\n The important thing about the “great men of the earth” is not who they are, but:<\/p>\n \n- Their position in society<\/li>\n
- Their true spiritual purpose<\/li>\n
- Their characteristics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n12<\/strong> A worthless person, a wicked man, Is one who walks with a perverse (corrupt, vulgar) mouth.
\n13<\/strong> Who winks with his eyes [in mockery], who shuffles his feet [to signal], Who points with his fingers [to give subversive instruction];
\n14<\/strong> Who perversely in his heart plots trouble and evil continually; Who spreads discord and strife.
\n15<\/strong> Therefore [the crushing weight of] his disaster will come suddenly upon him; Instantly he will be broken, and there will be no healing or remedy [because he has no heart for God].
\n16<\/strong> These six things the Lord hates; Indeed, seven are repulsive to Him:
\n17<\/strong> A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood,
\n18<\/strong> A heart that creates wicked plans, Feet that run swiftly to evil,
\n19<\/strong> A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths], And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers.<\/p>\nDeuteronomy clearly spells out their position in society and their function:<\/p>\n Deuteronomy 13:13<\/strong>
\nCertain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn [seduced<\/em><\/strong>] the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;<\/p>\nBelial is one of the many names of the devil.<\/p>\n I Timothy 6<\/strong>
\n9<\/strong> But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
\n10<\/strong> For the love of money is the root of all evil:<\/em><\/strong> which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.<\/p>\nAnother sure-fire way to find out how they function is to follow the money.<\/p>\n If the lust for more money, power and control overrides legal, ethical, moral, biblical or spiritual principles, then you know that ungodly forces were at work.<\/p>\n John 10:10<\/strong>
