11 Felony Forgeries against Jesus Christ

Job 13:8
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

Is this the very first forged verse responsible for people thinking that God is a person??

Job 13 [kjv]
7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
9 Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

Even before 1/3 of the very first book of the bible was written [chronologically], Satan was already busy at work introducing a forgery into the bible, getting people to think the distorted lie that God could be a person.

That places the creation of the doctrine of the trinity pretty high on his priority list.

The issue is the word "person". Let's see what it means in a Hebrew Lexicon.

Definition of person: Strong's Concordance #6440.

The very first usage of this Hebrew word panim in the bible is in Genesis:

Genesis 1:2
And the earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face [panim] of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face [panim] of the waters.

Obviously, replacing the word "face" in this verse with the word "person" wouldn't make any sense, verifying its correct translation is "face" and not "person".

Young's Analytical Concordance to the bible, on page 747, definition #9 also says that the word "person" in Job 13:8 comes from the Hebrew word panim, which means "face".

Wilson's New Old Testament Word Studies, on page 308, definition #7 also confirms the meaning of the Hebrew word panim as face.

Furthermore, the mistranslation of the Hebrew word panim into person contradicts what God's word says about himself and the very definition of person in this article on the Felony Forgery of Hebrews 1:3.

3 Objective authorities all concur that the meaning of the word "person" in Job 13:8 [kjv] is "face":

John 4
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1 Timothy 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Since God is spirit and is invisible, how can he have a face?

The usage of the word face in Hebrews 13:8 is the figure of speech condescensio [also called Anthropopatheia], which means God is condescending down to the level of man and given characteristics of man to add emphasis to the verse.

Since its a figure of speech, its not meant to understood literally.

If you are having a face to face meeting with somebody, then you can know them and interact with them.
